Meet Dr. Andrew LePine

Waterbury Location

Dr. Andrew LePine grew up in Bucks County, PA. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Biobehavioral Health at Penn State University, he went on to attend The University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After which he completed a general practice residency at The University of Vermont Medical Center. With a passion for public health, he started his practice of dentistry at The Health Center in Plainfield, VT. Where in addition to in-office dentistry, care is provided to select patients in an OR hospital setting. Keeping a foot in both public health and private practice, he divides his time between The Health Center and Mount Mansfield Dentistry. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Vermont State Dental Society, and is on the faculty to help educate dental residents in the UVMMC general dentistry residency program. He is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).

Andrew comes from a long line of dentists going back four generations. Although at first not set on continuing the trend, every avenue he explored kept circling back to dentistry which was able to blend many of his interests in science, art and hands-on skills to help people in need. During the course of his training and early stages of his career he’s had a knack for surgical procedures and helping anxious patients feel relaxed. This has led him to hone in his practice on extractions and IV sedation, with a strong focus on providing patients with a comfortable experience in a safe and relaxed environment.

Andrew lives in the MRV with his partner Karen, and their two dogs Baker and Sam. As a lover of all things outdoors, when not in the office you’re sure to find him somewhere out in nature on a hike, skiing at MRG as a volunteer ski patroller, biking, and spending time with family and friends.
